We are going to take you through the world of Russian Poetry and introduce you to its major representatives – Lermontov, Pushkin, Ahmatova and others. We will be discussing interesting facts from their biographies and their major poems and other works. Let me assure you that this evening is not going to be a lecture!:)
Oh no, on the opposite, we are hoping that it will be more of a cosy evening in a circle of friends, discussing a great poetry and having a laugh, munching biscuits and sweeties with some tea or coffee mmm :)
Also the brave ones could volunteer and read out loud the poems they like. Since, as they say, the best way of enjoying poems is actually by hearing them :)
Come along and, apart from becoming culturally enriched, we are also going to have a good craic !!! haha
