Student's union has recently launched the new Grinds Service at www.tcdsu.org/grinds, which is a freely accessible service to all Trinity students. If you want to give grinds to Leaving or Junior Certificate students from across Dublin, or to your fellow students in Trinity, then sign up now and make some extra cash for yourself. The Students' Union will be advertising this service to second-level students accross Dublin and to our own students on campus, so that you can easily find students looking for grinds. Also, there is the facility to find grinds for your course, given by lecturers, postgraduate students and others. Check out the tutors already on the site or put up an ad looking for grinds for your course.

‘Freshers Week’ 2009 runs from Monday 21st September to Friday 25th September.
The usual Society/Club stalls will be in place on Front Square (point C on the map) from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm approximately each day. Everyone interested is encouraged to come and support our new Society by joining (it costs 4eur to sign up and get a membership card)
The evening students of Russian language are really welcome aboard this week! Please don't be strangers :))
The TSM, European, Business & Russian students are welcome to our desk to entice the Freshers or bring along their friends or browse around for some nice shots with Russian bear.

Национальная библиотека Ирландии. Библиотека Тринити колледжа
Фильм рассказывает о двух ирландских библиотеках, разных по статусу, но равных по значимости - обе наделены правом обязательного экземпляра. Главная цель Национальной библиотеки Ирландии - формировать национального читателя, и для этого здесь собрано все, что связано со страной, ее языком, историей. Собрание Библиотеки Тринити колледжа, напротив, - интернациональное. Лишь вместе они могут полноценно выполнять функции сохранения культурной памяти и представлять в мире свою небольшую страну. Участвуют: Робин Адамс - главный библиотекарь Библиотеки Тринити колледжа; Ангус Хангуса - директор Национальной библиотеки Ирландии; Людмила Улицкая - писатель.
